Every child in Hawai‘i deserves a healthy start, and every mother deserves the support, care, and resources to thrive.

This past Saturday, the AlohaCare team was honored to join hundreds of passionate community members, local organizations, and families at the March of Dimes Hawai‘i, March for Babies walk. It was an inspiring morning filled with shared hope, community strength, and a singular, vital goal: advocating for the health of moms and babies across our islands.

Moving Together as an ‘Ohana

At AlohaCare, our dedication to the community goes far beyond healthcare coverage—it is personal. Seeing our employees, families, and friends come together to walk, not just as colleagues but as a dedicated ‘ohana, underscores the deep roots we share with the people of Hawai‘i.

Events like March for Babies remind us that real change happens when we all move in the same direction. By showing up together, we are helping fund critical research, advocacy, and local programs that directly impact maternal health outcomes and infant care in our communities.

The Work Ahead: Why We March

While the walk is a celebration of solidarity, it is also a call to action. Maternal and infant health remains a critical priority for our state. To understand the current landscape and the challenges we are working together to overcome, we encourage you to look at the data driving these efforts.

Mahalo Nui Loa

We want to extend a heartfelt mahalo to everyone who walked alongside us, donated to the cause, or cheered from the sidelines. It is through this collective community spirit that we can continue building a healthier, brighter future for Hawai‘i’s keiki.

We look forward to continuing this work with our community partners every day of the year.
